 Terms and Conditions

Please aim to arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time with clean/makeup free eyes and lashes. Extra time spent cleaning your lashes will mean less time lashing. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it may not be possible to extend the time available for your booked service; if your service is shortened due to your late arrival, you will still be charged the full cost of the service.

CHANGING YOUR APPOINTMENT

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule/cancel a booked appointment to avoid being charged.

SICKNESS OR FAMILY EMERGENCY

If you, or another person in your household, has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. For your safety and that of staff and other clients, please do not come to your appointments sick. If it is assumed you are currently sick, your appointment may be cut short or cancelled and rescheduled for when you are healthy again. A one-time allowance of last minute cancellation or reschedule will be permitted for sickness or family emergency. After that, the cancellation and no show policy is in effect.

CANCELLATION + NO SHOW

As a courtesy, appointment reminders are sent out 24 hours either by text, email or both. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged 100% of your service as a cancellation fee. This is to protect your time that is set aside especially for you, as well as to protect our time which books up quickly. In turn, we promise to keep appointments on time, give you our full and undivided attention and of course, the best lash work we have to offer!

OTHER ARTIST'S WORK

If you currently have eyelash extensions on from another lash artist, there may be the possibility that your current extensions will need to be removed and put back on properly. Due to the unregulated nature of eyelash extension trainings, certifications and state board regulations, there are a lot of lash artists that have been improperly trained and at Refined Artistry our priority is your natural lash health and eye safety. Thus, if you are coming in for a touch up from another lash artist, then you will need to schedule an appointment for a full set and/or removal. A credit will be applied towards your full set when you book both services together.

AFTER HOURS APPOINTMENTS

Certain circumstances and seasons may leave you in a panic to squeeze in a last minute lash appointment that is outside of my normal business hours. After hours appointments may be available on a case by case basis for an additional $35 fee. Please contact us directly via email or waitlist to schedule your after hours appointment.

REFUND POLICY

You are paying for artists' time, product and other expenses used to provide you with a service. No refunds will be given for any reason on services or products. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact Refined Artistry within 72 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns and if a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done so with a complimentary 15-30 minute touch up if it is at the fault of application or product. Any concerns addressed after 72 hours of your last appointment, or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions, will be charged at full price for the service.

Terms and Conditions for Service Packages

Please carefully read the following terms and conditions ("Terms") before purchasing any service packages from Refined Artistry. These Terms govern the use of service packages and outline the rights and obligations of both Refined Artistry ("We," "Us," or "Our") and the purchaser of the service packages ("You" or "Client"). By purchasing and using our service packages, you agree to these Terms.

  1. Package Purchase and Validity: 1.1. All service packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. 1.2. Service packages must be used within six (6) months from the date of purchase. Any unused services after this period will be forfeited.

  2. Late Cancellation Policy: 2.1. We enforce a late cancellation policy. If you cancel an appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled time, it will be considered a late cancellation. 2.2. In the event of a late cancellation, one (1) service from your package will be deducted.

  3. Service Redemption: 3.1 We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred staff member, but we cannot guarantee their availability for each service appointment.

  4. Expiration of Promotional Value: 4.1. While the promotional value of the service package expires after six (6) months, the paid amount never expires. 4.2. After the expiration of the promotional value, the paid amount will be deducted from the listed service price before any remaining value can be used. 4.3. For example, if you purchased a package of three (3) lash touch-ups for $240, with a regular price of $110 per touch-up, and you only used one (1) service, after the six-month expiration, you would be able to use the remaining paid amount of $130 towards services offered at full cost.

  5. Governing Law: 5.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. 5.2. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be exclusively filed in the state or federal courts located within the State of California.

  6. Modifications: 6.1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. 6.2. Any modifications to these Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying you via email.

COVID-19 PANDEMIC VOLUNTARY CONSENT

you understand, and willingly and knowingly consent to continue with services at Refined Artistry during the COVID-19 pandemic.

you understand that due to the frequency of visits from other clients, the characteristics of the virus, and the characteristics of a beauty shop, that you have an elevated risk of contracting the virus simply by being in a salon.
